2560x1440 on a 27’ monitor aint that great though. Maybe we’re all spoiled by like 2880x1800 displays on 15” laptops or 4k tablets and shit.

Well, that’s what Sony is doing tomorrow. These PS2 games are downloaded to your console and emulated locally.
Honestly once you’re up to hundreds of millions of dollars one amount isn’t really worse than the other.
I really want to play this with an Oculus Rift now...
Just using “Activator” it’s essentially scripting on an iPhone.
You lie, or you’re very patient. After 3 wrong attempts the device forces progressively longer and longer waits in between passcode entries. It’d take you days to get to that 10 guess limit.
As others have said, personal data, logged in social media and other stuff, plus having a passcode enabled lets you do things like remote wipe and track devices that are lost/stolen.
TouchID is great, but also easily forceable by law enforcement and courts for you to give it up. That said, I use a combination of TouchID with a crazy long complex passcode, and make a habit of shutting down the phone (forcing the long passcode on reboot) anytime I’m pulled over as well as having a Jailbreak tweak…
A fair amount do. Enough that Google should have realized a decent amount would draw that comparison. But Google is hardly famous for well thought out product names as the article points out.
Wait, women don’t watch porn? That’s patently false. And I’d assume that just means 43% of people admit they watch porn online. I’d call most of the other 57% liars.
I won’t say Apple can’t be pretentious in many ways, but I’ve never noticed it in any of their product naming.
I’d feel safe in saying a significant majority do.
The developer tweeted pictures of their studio a while back, including a picture of a prototype PlayStation VR next to one of their PS4 devkits, so it’s certainly possible they are looking into VR support.
It’s seasonal near-surface water. Depending on your point of view that’s either amazing or a let down. They’ve been talking about seeing signs of it for years, or ‘suspecting’ it, I assume on Monday they’ll announce solid evidence that yes, it is happening.
You don’t care so much you had to tell everyone how little you care? Are you sitting there in your Starbucks brooding over how edgey you are?
Maybe it’s your area, in Reno Nevada over the last 2 years I keep seeing NFC becoming more and more available. Hell, my local gas station / convenient market accepts Google Wallet and Apple Pay, as do the local Subway, McDonald’s, Whole Foods, Walgreens, etc. Seems that number is only going up.
Not sure how Android Pay does it, but I’d imagine it’s not too different than Apple Pay; you need to authenticate before a transaction works, whether that’s through TouchID (fingerprint) or a passcode. If your phone is stolen you can also deactivate payments through iCloud.com.
That does not excuse the retarded click-bait headline.
Beta’s don’t typically “brick” anything, and there’s always recovery mode.
So...wildly impractical, can only be used in specially designed parks, and you’ll likely break every bone in your body trying to use it.
