A car dash mounted iPad is great for navigation actually. I've been using TomTom since iOS6 came out but once they make an iPad version of the Google Maps app ill compare the two.

iOS did have it before Android ;-) even accounting for the 3 months it was gone when iOS6 removed it its still been on iOS longer than Android.
