I wouldn’t call an Ecoboost Mustang convertible a muscle car, so to me it seems the obvious choice here. It’s quick, looks great, not too low, plenty of room and it’s affordable to own and maintain. She can get a loaded one and still have enough cash left over to find another clean old 300Z to park in the garage next

“Japanese Reliability” is an outdated notion. Last I checked it’s not 1979.

Born long ago at a dealer near me was a GT with the performance package and no other option. No nav, no climate control, no fancy stereo system, cloth seats, spoiler delete, etc.

This generation of Mustang just continues to get better with age. It’s one of just a very few mass produced cars that is so good looking it makes my naughty bits tingle when I see one in the wild.

Maybe that’s the plan?

I only came here to say that’s a damn nice photo of some screws. That is all.

All that tech in side view mirrors is unnecessary. People need to learn to adjust their side view mirrors properly. It will change your life! (And possibly save it)

Except Trump isn’t a real Republican, just a con-man with a bunch of racist followers.

Racist/nationalist assholes are not limited to just Republicans.

I’d rather have a nice one of these than a similar era Tacoma, but this is just a wee bit too rough for that much coin. Hated to do it, but CP it is.

No, he worked at several dealerships in Central Florida. He was quality control working as a liaison between sales and service departments. Dealerships have issues with service departments removing good parts from RVs on the lot to fix warranty claims. Eventually you have a lot full of fucked up RVs. His job was to

I wonder if in a few years from now, when this current crop of 7,000 Model 3s hits the used market, they will be the Teslas we are all warned from buying.

So true, my father worked in the RV industry. He hated that the last portion of the “assembly line” was when the new buyer took ownership and basically had to bring the RV back for warranty work. Basically, they don’t even try to get the coach portion right on those hunks of crap. They just push it down the line, deliv

Musk isn’t wrong. I’ve always loved what Ford brought to the automotive landscape, but nowadays Ford’s basic abandonment (in cars) in N. America will ultimately ruin Ford in the end. I’ve bought several Fords over the years....now I really don’t know now if I’ll buy another. I’m not too different from the millions of

I more than don’t hate it. I love it. Also, I hate when sellers are assholes and have terrible email/text/phone etiquette. Sometimes I want to write back, “do you want to sell it or not? Just be fucking cool asshole.”

Same reasons a very clean 5.0 Mustang commands $15-$25k now. Cobra Fox Mustangs even more. I’m even seeing F-bodies (Z28/Trans-Am) go for as much.

That’s insane money for a car that even in it’s day couldn’t outrun a garden variety Mustang GT around a road course. Sport Compact Car did the story, was disappointed, then had to make up excuses why the Type R was a better.

The owner of the dealership was heard to say, “I’m sure glad we settled, Ford’s high dollar lawyers would have Taurus a new one!”

Most of the 2000's cars will be gone by then. All disposed of in President Bernie Sanders’s (the cybernetic version) Credits-For-Clunkers program. Damn solar powered hover cars. :-(
