They really are better cars than most people want to remember. I’ve seen quite a few do very well at autocross events throughout the years

American buyers are fickle. Sometimes I think they should have just left all the Aussie badges on the car and sold it as an import along side all the Chevrolets at dealerships. Only then would the yuppies and d-bags who care more about status than automotive prowess line up to buy it.

I’ll admit I actually like these. They aren’t pokey either.

If you want unnecessary scoops, flares, creases, vents, and bulges then buy a Hyundai. An afficianado knows it’s more about go than show.

Hot damn...that’s a good looking car.

I was in a kickball league once. Which by its very exsisitance is supposed to be for goofing around. We drank our beer in the outfield for heaven’s sake. But there was this one small red head dude on the team that was always yelling at team mates, “GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME!” Groaning when your kick was caught,

I got an 04 Liberty that has been bulletproof. It’s terrible to drive (manual v6 shifts like a school bus) but it always does A to B has been regularly beat on.

“vintage”

I have an old SVT Focus. The front and rear bumper covers are so hard (impossible) to find now-a-days, they are often the most valuable part of the car. I could use one of these useless tow hooks!

Hey Tesla, steal this design and make it electric. Oldsmobile already did all the work for you. (Can I get mine with an Atari 2600 though...just for nostalgia sake)

Or a Jeep Wrangler where you could open or remove everything.

I suspect years from the FJ will be sought after, prized by wealthy yuppies, and kept at their “cabins” in the “woods” as status symbols, much like many restored late 80's Grand Wagoneers are today.

Any small town in America still has a couple old LTDs running around as cop cars. We had an ‘81 Crown Vic LTD that was sold to family friends that had over 500k on the clock when it finally gave up the ghost. V8, RWD is a pretty solid combination.

You also forgot about Chevrolet. Few even realize how close they were to the formula. The Code 130R concept looked pretty close to a production model. Would’a Should’a Could’a Chevy...what a shame.

Styling wise they’ve stood the test of time for sure, but good lord when was the last time you saw a Corona, Cressida, or any 80's Toyota still on the road that is a daily driven?

If a video link is embedded from YouTube, I think it does.

Ever stop to think maybe he only has one real LeBaron Convertible and 21 parts cars? I mean come on....it’s a 1980's LeBaron.

I see what’s happening here...the Empire is basically soviet era Russia design philosophy when you think about it.

I don’t understand why people are defending FF. They may have explicitly stated what the 0-60 test was, but by doing it at the end of the track where the finish line is, and doing it alongside another car, it’s obvious to me their attempt was to mislead. They knew most viewers would see a “race”and not a 0-60 test.

For a few extra bucks will Honda throw in a car cover? Hate for my neighbors to have to look at that ugly ass Civic in my driveway.
