I hate to say this but the answer once again is....Miata. With a 15' turning radius, no blind spots, and enough guts to down the track a bit before the other car manages to get out of the “box” it would be a good contender.

Agreed. That car debuted in 1962. When you think about other “futuristic” designs of that time, many still featuring big fins, rocket tail lights, and an abundance of chrome, you then realize how much closer the Avanti’s design is to today’s car than it was to cars of it’s own era.
Been there. It never gets better. You know, the whole “one that got away” thing. But as they say, “better to have loved and lost than to have never loved before” or something like that. Sorry bro. Hang in there...other dream cars await.
I was having issues seeing all the vehicles. Did it show the Pontiac GTOs, G8s and Camaros that the USAF uses for U2 support/chase vehicles?
I was 22 years old, had been married for a couple of years and my wife was pregnant and still I couldn’t pass the opportunity to buy this gorgeous ‘73 Triumph TR6. I knew classic British cars were finicky but I was smitten. This was in the 90's so I didn’t have the Internet either, just books! I know! (Gasp!) I had no…
I live near Sun City Center in Central Florida. I see at least 2 to 3 champagne colored Buick LeSabres a day. Usually they are in perfect condition and piloted by human Q-tips. When I ride a motorcycle I avoid these cars at all costs.
You picture a Triumph TR4/5/250 but don’t indicate Triumph in your list...I’m a little disappointed and curious. As a former Triumph owner myself I can attest that Triumph owners are generally a committed bunch to the marque and knowledgeable owners are plenty. However, I would say there are also a lot of people that…
You know, that’s a good point. The flip phone may be a give-away that these are older pics. Which could mean the photos may not be representative of the as-now condition. Or...he’s a cheater that uses a burner phone to hide his many girlfriends from his wife.
Oh come on....There were a lot of Cressidas, Stanzas, Acura Legends etc etc...don’t see nary a single one. Down here in Florida, I see tons of Tauruses and Caprices etc. heck even saw a Ford Probe just the other day. And think of the last time you saw a beater work truck that had been abused for 20 years, you know the…
Sure do see a lot more of those than I do of Cressidas.
haha. Your mom is cool. That was great.
If this car had been hidden for all these years and was rolled out today as a 90's era Nissan Concept car, I would believe it. Never really thought about it back then, but now I see so much Nissan influence in the SVX. 300Z and 240SX design cues throughout come to mind.
Right on. That thing is sooooo fugly.
This one is too easy. I’ll be enjoying my copy of the video, thank you.
I’ve never loved a 924 more than I do right now. To Craigslist I go!
No, I’m sorry I just meant Cutlass Supremes.
MG TD Replica. Powered by a VW Beatle engine....in the back?! Good Lord no. This is an affront to all vintage British motor cars. Those PepBoys wire wheel hubcaps and and that interior made with school bus upholstery...uhg. This is a car that isn’t good at anything. Not fast, not comfortable, not cool, not cheap,…
Ain’t nothing some full length subframe rails, and some strut tower braces can’t fix. These old fox 5.0s are rapidly gaining in value. But lots of current owners haven’t yet realized it. That means you can still find a cheap one. They are easy to flip and make a buck on and despite most V8 versions having been beaten…
