Windows updated its DPI scaling with Vista your probably just to dumb to even realize it. Turn off Windows XP DPI Scaling and quit whining.

You can still steal the barcode, print a generic print at home ticket and replace the barcode making it look like your ticket was a print at home, and they have no way to tell the difference since they use the same barcodes.
