The per-passenger vs. airlines thing is ridiculous. People get on a plane for 3 hours and then get off, you’re living on this thing for a week. Using A to B travel emissions doesn’t make any sense for a comparison.

Pretty much. There is most likely a harness in there too, which would kind of warrant a HANS device as well. You don’t HAVE to wear a helmet with a cage, but it would definitely be the smart thing to do. If you get into a crash and your head meets cage, it won’t go well for your head.
