I’ve heard people comment in the past that if a rollcage has been installed the driver necessarily has to wear a helmet?

Pretty cool and all, but also sorta silly in a poseur “let’s play make believe rally-driver!” kinda way.
Also, in other places gas stations are disappearing.

Honda says the instrument panel “features a human-machine interface (HMI)” that will allow for “simple and intuitive operations”

If they were concerned about safety (they’re not) they’d get rid of the massive displays in the middle of the dashboard that pretty much force you to take your eyes off the road.
Not sure what to do exactly with the data, but I kinda like it that my Silverado also tells me how many hours are on the vehicle/motor.
Over the past 14 months I’ve spent over $13k in repairs on the 2 VWs (yes, they’re pieces of shit). The truck has cost me gas money. ‘Nuff said.
Not around my neck of the woods. Trucks hold their value incredibly well in Central Texas, but I get what you mean. Still, the VWs have been in and out of the shop many times. The truck has only needed oil changes, and it has 25k more miles on it than the cars.
yeah that front plate tells me all I need to know about the owner.
Gonna have to call BS on the TCO of trucks being “40-50% higher” - I’ve got a GTI, a Golf SEL and a Chevy Silverado. If anything the truck is overall a little cheaper than either of the VWs.
