Well, first practice on your maneuvering, being careful with other skilled players around.

About guns and missiles, it really is tricky and this is where strategy,skills and some planning come into place. If you are into missiles, there is an upgrade called "Beam Scanning", that tracks air targets much faster. You have to remember some of your enemies have "Stealth", so it can still be tricky to get a lock.

That's true! It's as lonely as it gets in BF 3, but it's bad-ass when you get the hang of it and start grabbing some kills.

I responded your question about Jet-flying.I play it on the PS3, but I own a 360 too and tried to make a simple conversion. Hope it helps!
