@timgray: Waste money? If it does everything you ask of it (which for almost anyone that goes with it it does), why pay twice as much for something? You do realize money is a big part of people's decisions right? With your logic why not just go out and by a supercomputer cluster to fully future proof yourself?

@timgray: Believe it or not, "the social junk" isn't the seller for a lot of people using Boxee. It is the ability to index episodes from all over the web into an easy to use interface. Also, of course for double the money you can have way better specs.

@GeicoCaveman: Since when can a PS3 play any content on the web? And doesn't it have limitations on the formats it can play?

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: I believe the magic is in the graphics department. Boxee Box can handle the highest of high definition just fine. Playing an HD movie from a nettop is not likely to work, and it's almost impossible to see a $200 netbook with an HDMI port.

@MidKnightReaper: You do realize pretty much every company makes you sign an NDA right? Not just crazy top secret three letter organizations affiliated with the government.

@Norbert Dan: You sure can do that. I don't know how well Windows is for partitioning but you can download a GParted Live Cd and use that. It works great.

So does this mean an end to the naming scheme? Or will they do an expidited Apple method of a bunch of small updates, then all of a sudden a full on OS update?

@philselmer: I mean nowhere does it say it is iPhone specific. The one example used said iPhone, but the rest of the article suggested any smartphone would have this problem.

@philselmer: Yes probably evil Apple's doing....

@Webran61: How's the view from up there?

@akumadiavolo: Look at most of Florida. Most of the Eastern US. Wisconsin, Michigan. The Pacific Northwest. As I said it looks pretty good. It's not perfect, as was stated in the article.

@akumadiavolo: Why is it not even close? Looks pretty good to me...

@cjgentile: doesn't mean you have to

@OMG! Ponies!: Agreed, I'm in the same boat as you, however, A) some people don't have the option B) they do not feel the same about wires as we do.

@OMG! Ponies!: You still are streaming it wirelessly since it is coming from your wifi connected i(pad|pod|phone).

@hewhoroams: I personally like Clonezilla.

@TampaShooters: I took it to mean all of the currently known black friday deals ...
