@Billy_McSkintos: I tried XBMC and found it just plain awful, though that was a while ago, so I can't really compare that. I just know out of 522 movies Boxee found 494 correctly and it takes 10 seconds to manually find the other 28.

@Billy_McSkintos: Well you sure don't know how to use Boxee then. My TV and Movie info retrieval isn't very slow. And once it's done it's done. You also don't have to share everything you watch. You have the choice.

@freedomweasel: Unfortunately it's a little time sensitive so hopefully dont have to resort to snail mail. I would love to set up an ftp server but my apartment's internet will not allow for a server. It requires logging in every day it's so locked down.

Alright I know there are all sorts of opinions on the internet about this, but I think a lot of them are outdated and not really that great. I am looking to share a 5gb file with my pops via the internet. What is the best way to do this?
