@duckyreads: I hear good things about logmein.

@Mickets: Another reminder that great has a lot to do with personal tastes :-)
@Jason Fitzpatrick: Seems I have been proven wrong. Granted I am no expert when it comes to all of this, I was going off of my own experiences. I have not been able to allocate more than 1GB of RAM to any of my guests, which probably explains my issues. I thought this was a limitation of VirtualBox, but maybe I just…
@spinnaker0: Ah thank you sir...my shows are usually reruns that are recorded over night so that is not an issue for me.
@Landerhoffis: My work laptop was given to me (by work believe it or not), it's a little older, but I love the trackpad on it. It's an IBM thinkpad T42. I don't know how much the trackpad has changed since Lenovo took over, but if they're the same the trackpads are really nice.
@spinnaker0: what is this autoskipper you use?
@sandiegoguy: There was an article either here or on gizmodo that suggested cooling pads don't work. They basically only work if you're looking to keep your hot laptop off of your lap. If you are hoping to keep your fan/cpu/computer in general running cooler and therefore longer, the results are negligible at best.
@highwaykind: ya this definitely isn't for video editing, photoshop, music recording or anything like that...
@H0M3: I used to do this all the time and it worked just fine for me. Sometimes you could even get away with finding someone else who has taken the class and find out how important the book is.
@Bos'un's Mate: Any time you can bring the WKUK into conversation, it is a good day.
@blyan: Ya I don't really keep up with the Union so IDK, but I hear bad things...
@HardwareWars: Name taken so they can't use tha...oh nevermind...
@blyan: Douchebag? He made the Fire one of the dominant teams from the late 90s. But yeah he is kinda a db.
@SilverBlade2k: Windows and OSX work just fine for most people, however, plenty of people prefer the speed and power of the CLI. This article won't be for a lot of people, but some people will find it really helpful. Myself included. I hate having a browser open just to see my calendar.
@KamWrex: Some people don't know about wildcards and never will.
@shkm: I don't believe it actually tags anything for you, I think the tip is suggesting it just tells you which files are missing ID3 tags. That being said, I've never tried this, and I hate Grooveshark mainly for it's crappy tagging of their catalogue...
@gpdaddy: Or just get drm free music, whichever format you like.
@Bam Margera: Well I'm glad to hear it was not your intent to troll. I'm just saying this article had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with Apple, so when you put something in just to say how overpriced they are, it sure comes off that way.
@Bam Margera: That comment was a pretty big stretch for an article that has nothing to do with Apple. Seemed like trolling for the point of trolling.
@Bam Margera: I see you got all nice and stretched before you commented today...
