ive decided i'm going to say this to every clickbait post i see:

good point, especially since the east regional costs about $45,000 to attend. there are a lot of CT transplants in the metro area, though come to think of it, i think anywhere in the world could say the same thing.

oh man ive been meaning to listen to this song for about a month now.

I caught that too. I'm guessing the letter refers to no fatalities among the politically connected with desk jobs. Like this guy. But it would not surprise me if they had a few die at their desks just to be subject to a cover-up.

hey remember that time they tried to change one shining moment and populist outrage made them change it back? that.

its supposed to be cheesy. that's what makes it entertaining. its the one part of the tourney thats not too serious for itself and thats what makes it a fitting end.

aside from select exceptions the whole eastern conference might as well be the D-league. jeez.

this probably would be funnier if they had won more than one playoff series in the last 13 years.

if anyone from New Era is reading this, please do a Brewer's cap with a hank patch. Please... and make sure it's available in 5950.

is the name of the knicks D-league team "The New York Knicks"?

that never would have gone in if this was ice hockey and frankfurt were canadian women.

i want desperately to be interested in lena dunham, or anything she has to say,
and want desperately to like bill simmons in anything that's not print,

chalk it up to the monoculture.
but seriously, i could only make it through about 4 minutes of this. when simmons started talking about ishtar, ctrl+w.

cant be more than 10 back. clearly this would invalidate the entire argument.

are you tired of playing for teams named for things that fly?

BC isn't half as crappy as people think. They had the 12th hardest schedule in the country. Quick:

Very good teams they've played:
Syracuse x2, Duke, Connecticut, UMass, VCU, Virginia, UNC... 1-7, but all 7 excusable losses for a 0.500 team.
Other tournament teams:
Harvard, Toledo, Providence... 0-3, but again, somewhat

also, if you watch the video, it looks like the beam warps at impact. structural steel doesn't do that. i'm going with its a piece of rigging or some kind of ceiling track.

good find — it's less damage then I would expect a 400 pound beam to impart from a drop height of at least 25 feet. its also bizarre that it would land on end like that.

piece of ceiling != beam.

if that was an actual roof beam, shit like chairs would be way more f*cked.

there is no way that this is a transparent attempt to stay in the olympic sex-village for just that little longer — wait...

wasn't there a crack in the ice on the short track at the exit of that turn?

i just saw this, month late...
motorex was the RI who was allowed to do the work on them. when motorex died, the ability to convert to NHTSA standard died with them. the conversions aren't open standards, the RI's who petition for individual cars get to keep them, and with how much money it takes to get a car on that
