So your going to suggest that even during the global economic shut down that all but prohibits new vehicle purchases, Ford should still be able to sell their vehicle at a profit while absorbing the social distancing compliance costs.
I feel like some corpo type insisted and this is what the staff came up with in protest, and it is subtly very entertaining perhaps to their detriment. It’s a blogging TPS report and there will be more.
5.4 million tests is a million tests a week on average during a ramp up period or a full half of the estimated required testing.
Is Covid-19 one of the drivers?
Okay so you don’t seem to understand how this works. No everyone gets sick and of those that do a very small fraction die, who may die either way since 99% of covid deaths come with at least one comorbidity. Per USC, Stanford etc the disease is already endemic in the community at a rate of at least 15%.
I too think we should keep people in the bread line when the risk of transmission of a droplet born disease in 2,000 acre outdoor complex is nearly zero.
The concern is the case hospitalization/fatality rate, bend the curve and all that, which they have shown to be much lower than current estimate. Their relatively high community prevalence in the absence of clinical disease is a major blow to quarantine enthusiasts. It has become endemic, and probably was since early…
5.4 million tests have been conducted over the last 6 weeks during the ramp up and testing capacity continues to expand. Yesterday had the fewest covid deaths since April 7th.

It doesn’t align with their data.
The confirmed case count goes up with testing which has been rolled out across the state. The hospitalizations are the bend the curve indicator and have remained flat. California also has the luxury of warm sunny days ahead and a near zero risk of infection outdoors. Let them go to the beach.
Lower number of confirmed cases artificially increased the case fatality rate which then was put into a model which inflated the overall mortality.
I see you’ve never tried to shove a qtip into someone’s nose.
You are citing the socially required editorializing not the data. More over that ~15% holds for Europe and diamond princess as well.
The Cuomo turning away vents when he demanded Trump magic up 40.000 is a bad look.
Funny CDPH says the hospitalized COVID19 population hasn’t budged above 4.500 for the duration, in a state with 70.000 hospital beds. So...
Just for a point of comparison, penicillin didn’t exist in 1918. Medicine is very different in 2020
You are aware most places have stopped testing or are only testing their hospitalized populations. More over testing involves shoving a swab all the back of the throat and is libel to show false negatives if not properly conducted.
