Toews, Crosby, Stamkos, Kopitar, I'll give you.
I never heard anything about $75 this year, $71 was the number and it came in low.
I don't see anyone taking Hossa's contract, there's just too many years left. And at $5.2mil for a guy that scores 30 and finishes top 5 in the Selke is a fucking bargain in today's NHL.

I used to have friends who worked at a Red Lobster and made pretty decent money while they were in school, but used to absolutely hate their endless shrimp promotion. They would work twice as hard for a quarter of the tips.
Fucking movies.
Right, but he was never given a speaking role or was never mentioned by Beane, Howe or the scouts behind the scenes, just like Zito, Mulder, etc weren't either. I would have to guess it would be b/c they would have had to pay they something or something more.
Maybe the filmmakers needed special permission to use them or the players were asking for too much money to be featured. If any of the players did get paid for their names being used in the movie, I'm guessing guys like Hatteberg and Jeremy Giambi were happy to receive any money offered.
Is that the A's GM pictured above? What happened to Brad?
