I think it is more than enough considering its on top of their wage and it was what, a 4 month tour? Thats a crazy good bonus & props to her for doing it.

It’s going to be great once these are on the lots in large enough numbers for customer to drive and buy off the lot. How many people have cancelled their orders due to drastically increasing price between order time and delivery?
this is cool of her. I’m sure there will be people who feel it isn’t enough, and grand scheme, probably isn’t. But it’s $5MM in the pockets of people who didn’t have it before so sounds good to me.
As long as it’s not exclusive to Tesla Semis*, then I think this is a good idea. Tesla knows how to build a reliable charging network.
Oh, Caitlin. Always making herself the poster child for “Equality, but just for me!”
Blame the dealers. They are pushing product THEY want to sell (e.g. make more margin on) instead of selling what consumers want. They’ll “incentivize” certain products (no ADM on a Corolla Cross, for example) at the expense of a tested product (RAV4) - I don’t know if it’s because Toyota is pushing to get good sales…
Agreed. The problem with Toyotas isn’t their cars. It’s their dealers.
Came here to say the same thing. I would love to try the new Prius and possibly buy one but you can’t. The dealer wants a deposit just to place the order THEN there’s a markup on top of that. All before I’ve even test driven one. No thanks...
Every experience I’ve had with a Toyota dealership has given me the impression that they genuinely don’t care if they get my business or not and that they’re going to charge as much as they can get away with over MSRP. It’s really turned me off of buying them. Now that I’m mainly looking at EVs, they’re not even kind…
Hey Toyota, start by building the cars people would love to try and buy if they could. I’ve talked to so many people that would buy a Sequoia except you can’t find them. Others would buy a RAV4 hybrid or Prime...but good luck. oh and I can’t wait until Tacoma’s try hitting the lot, that will be hilarious. BUILD THE…
At certain Whole Foods I frequent; all the free samples are unmanned. The cheese is in a covered container that you have to get with tongs or toothpicks and for liquids, they have a carafe laid out.
Get rid of the samples. You would think they were handing out gold bars by the mobs clogging the aisles.
That’s honestly the biggest surprise.
Then they need to increase the penalties on the model of what Europe does. The penalty is so freaking high, no manufacturer want to not reach target.
On the other hand, no one would’ve expected Texas to have an environmental regulator, so who’d bother looking for one?
Man, I am sure glad that the dealership model is protected by state laws. They provide such great value.
Take these seized superyachts and sink them to make habitats for ocean life, artificial reefs, things like that. If they’re close enough to be seen from shore, sink them with some sweet explosives and sell tickets so people can go watch.
I love that Stellantis is blaming marketing for their slip...what a move. Its those idiots in marketing not our dealer inventory or products...
