Rivian R1S owner here with 2 kids. I could give two ishes about the third row. I just need room behind the 2nd row for a stroller and all of their other crap when we go out for a weekend trip. Tesla Model X would have been a perfect size, but the $100k+ price tag was too rich for my tastes.

I have two kids (10 and 7) and a 40 pound dog. We take several road trips every summer and manage in a Chevy Equinox. I will add the caveat that we do use a rooftop carrier for these trips, the Equinox would not work for us if we didn’t have it.
