I am now an Old-ish, so therefore rarely invited to be a bridesmaid anymore, but I’m at the point where I would downright refuse to be a bridesmaid unless the bride can guarantee that I can wear a regular bra. Life is too short for that horseshit.

Ah, yes, foundation garments. I had a friend in a wedding in Texas years ago, and she’s from the Pacific Northwest and very sporty/casual. So she goes down there and is presented with her bridesmaid’s gear, and it’s this structured sheath thing that makes any normal body look like a stacked series of bike tires.

This is a really weird case, because the actors didn’t fully grasp how fucked they were until MONTHS after they wrapped. They thought they were going on a nice pleasant cruise only to find out they had booked tickets on the Titanic once the trailer came out.

Nah. Reworking it would just be throwing good money after bad. If they tried to redo the CGI, it would likely still look like garbage and lose even more money. They pushed it out knowing it was bad and hoping to cut their losses a little.

You sit there in Washington so frightened of the big, bad Republican machine you have no idea what people are thinking. I’m telling you right now, Tom DeLay is going to lose in his district. If Democrats in Washington haven’t got enough sense to OWN the issue of political reform, I give up on them entirely.

Being an auntie is the best! One thing I did with my niece and nephews when they were kids was to take them out on a birthday trip, just the two of us. They got to pick, or if they didn’t have any ideas, I’d suggest something, like a trip to the science museum for my science minded nephew. Sometimes just even a movie.…

Yesterday I officially became an aunt!! My nephew Carter George arrived just before noon. My sister hasn't given permission to post any pictures on Facebook yet, so I won't share any on here for now.

That cat made me happy. RIP Lil’ Bub. Gonna give my grouchy kitty a big hug and gentle headbutt when I get home.

Lil Bub will forever be my favorite internet cat to ever live. No other internet cat will ever come close to the magnificence that is Lil Bub.
