Hey, it’s always nice to know that I’m not the only one who sees something!

I’m sure all that stuff about Stephen Miller is true, but it’s missing out on his base motivation:

How To Cook That. Current content is about half making desserts, half debunking those clickbaity viral cooking videos that channels like Blossom and 5 Minute Crafts churn out.

I grew up in Los Angeles and graduated in 1990. Public schools always started the Tuesday of the week after Labor Day (the Monday was a pupil-free prep day for teachers) and ended sometime in mid-late June. I graduated outdoors at noon on June 21. Perhaps needless to say, we all wore shorts under our gowns.

Whenever possible, I link to AP or Reuters stories. They’re rarely the *best* stories, but the largest wire services have a financial interest in staying as neutral as possible. That usually negates the “WaPo/NYT/CNN is fake news!” knee jerk reactions.

What I am curious about is how nonwhite women reconcile the contradiction between a religious belief in the sanctity of life, which is pretty common in most Christian denominations, with voting for Democrats.

Three reasons you might not have heard any of this before:

I’m sure Eric still believes it. The current favored theory among the Trump loyalist crowd seems to go a little something like this: COVID-19 is totally overblown, and will disappear right after the election. Apparently, anyone to the left of Breitbart is in on a plan to delay announcement of a vaccine, because we

I would pay *checks wallet* $1.38 to see someone ask him what he thinks the difference between “mail-in voting” and “absentee voting” is. As I'm sure he won't give a coherent answer, I'd set aside an additional 27 cents for the reporter who asks him follow-up questions.

Disney seems to have their heart set on releasing Mulan in theaters around the world on the same weekend, so I think they’ll hold off until they can do that.

Onward was released on March 6, so it had two weekends in theaters. If Disney hadn’t put it on streaming services, they would have abruptly stopped making money off of it - and if there’s one thing Disney hates, it’s not making money off of something.

They’ve done away with the theatrical release requirement for this year, and also they’ve also moved back the eligibility deadline to the end of February. The ceremony will be in late April.

You’re welcome! It’s definitely on the pricey side, but I’ll probably justify it by telling myself it’s still less than I’d pay for two movie tickets, snacks, parking and all that fun stuff. Anyway, I figure they’ve gotta make their money back somehow, so it’s either this or delay it at least another year.

At this point, I think the major studios are pretty much declaring 2020 a wash. Some of the studios are trying VOD with smaller movies, but I don’t see majors like Disney giving up on that billion-dollar theatrical revenue.

Disney was making a pretty strong push for The New Mutants yesterday at Comic-Con - new clips, cast interviews, etc. It’s currently still on the schedule for August 28, but the way things are going the movie will either premiere on VOD or be sent back to its dark shelf for another year.

You’re in luck - news out of Comic-Con is Bill and Ted Face The Music will be available on demand on Sept. 1. It will initially be PVOD, so it will be in the $20-$30 range for a while.

I would pick the latter. If everyone attending were to wear a mask and maintain distance from people they don’t live with, the chances of transmission would be incredibly low, if existent at all.

Except they’re not.
