This was really great and I hope more people get the chance to read this response...except for that “summarily executed” part. I don’t think we can do that anymore...though if it is still on the books I’d love the reference.

Thanks for taking the time to write this.

I’d put a down payment on one of these right now if they could keep it below 20k with a decent suspension and an LSD. I can wait, my NA still has plenty of life left in it.

What movie is this? I like both of them enough that I might hit it up.

More people need to understand this. I've run across this in a few trainings and it opened my eyes.

Thanks for your service!

35k total, but resale will play a big part. A new Subaru, Wrangler or , until recently, a TDI would be easy to swallow so long as I’ve minimized my chance of losing all the money I put into it. No more than 35k because I don’t want to be kept up at night worrying about it nor do I want people to think I’m an asshole.

I sat in one of these at the Honda HQ a few weeks ago. As a 6’ Miata driver I was very disheartened to find that I was too big to really fit in it without slouching.

Buy one used. I saw one at a dealer with a few hundred miles for only 4K when my buddy was buying a Ducati this summer. I’ve also seen a few pop up on various forums for less than that. I love the SR400 and may still get one, though I might need a bit more power for highway cruising.

Only reason I haven't bought one.

I’m going to impulse buy a car after one of these videos. The time is coming.

I think the Jeep does clutch less starts in 4w-low

I feel the same way about the back seats and no one would ever agree with me. I actually found the rear seats in the two door to be more comfortable.

Read that the 3.6 is getting some slight updates for 2015 in the Grand Cherokee, can anyone confirm that this is true and coming to the Wrangler? I had a 2014 2 door that I sold when I moved to Korea, a 2016 is on the short list for when I get back.

I’ve never replaced a clutch in any of my vehicles, to include a WRX (100k+ miles) that I’ve passed down (up?) to my father, but I have a cousin who needed a new one in his bug-eye at 52k. I think it was a combo of how he drove and living in a hilly area. I’m guessing you’ve got some good habits if you’re over 300k.

I did this same repair on a 2005 Sentra Spec-V I had. Ok, mine was the driver’s side. I drove around for a month without the panel on because it was interfering with the wheel. Found a guy on eBay who sold new panels painted to the original color of the car and when I was done the car looked as good as new. Mine was

No worries. Enjoyed the article!

For a second I thought the picture was in France and agreed with you. The photo credit says it was taken at Ramstein AFB (think they mean AB though I’m too lazy to check). Much easier to pull off there.

I’ve been to the Poop cafe! The beer was warm, but the ambiance was great.
