Didn't you have a Volvo sedan as your first car?

Maybe this is just the base model...that probably wouldn't come to 'murrica.
I could have the 1.5l for my daily and the 2.0 for weekends.
Great, now I'll be on Hemmings all night looking at cars. Hope you're proud of yourself.
Though I may run out and trade my Jeep in on a 2014 NC Club as a stopgap. Damn my car addiction and stable job. Damn you!!!!
Despite my NA stranding me 200 miles from home over the weekend it is very safe.
Thanks Mazda, it's not sexy enough for me to run out as soon as possible and put a down payment on one so now I can wait for the hardtop, which I will buy regardless of sexyness. Sadly I may end up buying one on the spot after a test drive, or I might go for the Fiat/Alpha....but I'm safe for now.
I'm doing pretty well with a 2014 Wrangler and a 1996 Miata.
Jason, as your lawyer* I can safely tell you that I concur with your assessment of the situation and subsequent response to the good Dr's letter. As your lawyer* I can also tell you I often intend to take legal action, but then usually wonder away to get drunk.

As long as nothing is fundamentally wrong with it I'd be cool with a lighter NC. The only thing I NEED before buying one is enough room to put my 6' long legged frame in. I've fit fine in the two NAs I've owned once removing the armrests, even taking a few 20 hour drives, and I was ok in the NB, but I feel a bit…
With the growing evidence that they will share the same turbo engine I'm thinking it'll come down to looks and interior. I can't see too much of a difference in handling, I'm thinking they will be as similar in that department as the toyabaru twins.
I did too, but I was driving a lot and the convertible top was a time-bomb. The MINI I traded it in on was just as fun without keeping me up at night worrying about something breaking and torpedoing my car fund. Fun in a different way, and no longer did women catcall me at stoplights. If I find a nice four door or…
1974 BMW 2002, 1999 M3, and a 1978 e21. Are we besties yet?
I've finally decided that I would like to be your friend. My resume is as follows: 2 Wranglers, 3 classic BMWs, 4 Saabs, 3 Miatas and a bunch of motorcycles and other cars that I can't be bothered to remember right now. I drove cross country and back in the oldest of those Miatas with a summer's worth of belongings…
I had to look that up...but thank you. Soooo cool.
I'm 100% planning to make this choice in the second model year. My current car will be paid off and I'm hopping to buy a new Miata/Fiat and keep it forever. I've had an NA and an NB and I'll be at the point where I can have one from new.
Different sort of sport, but if used correctly still fun. It will get you enough attention from the opposite sex, but impractical and uncomfortable enough that you'll probably be forced to sell it when you settle down.
While that's heresy...probably true for 2007. I had a friend with a manual, 60 year old woman, and hers shit the bed right around the same time. While two hardly forms a pattern that is 100% of the Manual Outbacks of that generation that have had major issues.
You lived.
I have owned a metric crap-ton of cars: a 2002, an e21, an e36 M3, 2013 WRX, 1999 10AE Miata, Caprices with cop motors, a wrangler, countless Saabs and a bunch more. Additionally, I've driven some realllllllly nice cars.
If priced right I would buy a new 2013/2014 Saab, even if it was essentially the same as my 2003 Saab. I'm usually a much smarter consumer, but I really liked that car and I doubt the window to buy a new Saab will be open for long, if it ever does reopen.
