When I’m on Linux, I just use the command-line for git stuff. Windows really needs the GUI more than the others, since you can’t even perform the git commands on a Windows environment without installing Git Shell to be able to type in the necessary “git add; git commit -m; git push” commands.

To be honest, I think XBMC/Kodi on a phone is a wasted endeavor. Kodi is designed to be a multimedia jukebox—it’s awesome at scraping, organizing, and playing all of your media. But given the memory limitations of a phone, I can’t imagine you can fit enough media on it to be worthwhile.
