The ‘coaching’ rule is bad, and inconsistently applied (and I’ve never seen it in a Grand Slam final). That said, bad calls happen all day, every day, in every sport. Serena is a bad sport. It is what it is. You need to be almost pathologically competitive to succeed at the highest levels of sport, so it’s not that surprising. However,considering her position in her sport (and her age), it might behoove her to act like Federer,not Johnny Mac.
