I think part of the reason GotG has so much love, is from the people dying for good space opera. I can’t really think of anything between GotG and Serenity besides Star Trek, and while okay, it’s nothing special.

I saw it 6 times in the theater. I loved the film. That said, Winter Soldier is MCU movie #1b. Both are

Procedurals....../shudder

My 12 year old nephew was one such this May.

To anyone that doesn’t want to give up their freedom so that 30 some thousand people don’t die a year, fuck off.

Seveneves was horrid trash. I have no idea why people think that book is even close to average, let alone great.

And I’m a big fan of Butcher, but Windlass was just okay. Fun little book but I stopped halfway through to read some library books instead.

Totally stealing that.

I guess it’s a good thing I’m too poor and/or have little interest in going to concerts or sporting events anymore. Atrocious.

No kidding. A co-worker was looking at getting Paul McCartney tickets at a local venue. His wife was in line to purchase. Ten rolls around, and no one even got them at that Ticketmaster. They’d already sold out before the first person’s transaction went through.

That’s fucked up.

Classic

Truth.

Yes. And it sucked.

Good thing you didn’t believe it. It looked more like he was grudgingly giving her mouth to mouth, doing so quickly, and her arms move such that it appears she was faking the need for it as soon as he begins.

“It’s that Negan’s debut has always been defined by his murder of one of the main characters. They aren’t parts of a scene, they are the same scene. And the entirety of season six was devoted to building up to Negan’s debut

Because of this. Narratively, there was no pay off for 8 episodes worth of material. That is

The thing is though, with the hints and shadows that go on in the first movie, that makes finding out who his dad is in the second, kind of a big deal. And you’d expect something like that to be hidden for you know, the movie.

I’d already spoiled myself, and I’m typically the one that says, get the fuck over it

Came here for this post, wasn’t disappointed.

Very shitty of Germain.

It’s cause they’re Fuckeyes. Of course they would.

The premise of the book is that the characters are using near future (maybe 5 years from now) tech, and somehow after every single male dies, the sperm bank gets destroyed, that one scientist is able to impregnate the seven remaining women left alive, and eventually recreate males.

He made a character based off of

Cheaper price for the people that know this is the future, and a better one imo.
