I’d go with Goober.

“I never thought this would happen to me…”

That last paragraph sounds like an excerpt from a David Tracy erotic novel.

Not totally related to the article here, but another take on the situation.

Steadying his massive elephant rifle against a well positioned rock, the ‘Housing and Zoning Inspector’ for Troy Michigan, calmly emptied his entire stockpile of high-powered ammunition into the engine block of the “Excursion” Jeep.

PHENOMENAL GRILLE POWER!

The Land Cruiser rides on a new platform called GA-F.”

This is the absolute perfect truck for most people who buy trucks. Therefore Ford will sell about a dozen of them and they’ll be discontinued in three years.

Trim Levels should be names. Look at how successful King Ranch, Platinum, Denali, Elite, Touring are. People enjoy saying out loud that they have one of those. They don’t enjoy saying they have an XLT.

I know I only turn 40 this year, but I suddenly feel old because...I kinda dig it. It’s elegant.

That’s the key thing here. It’s just the new thing to rile up the base who doesn’t even know what inflation is, let alone how it happens.

The company I work for sent everyone to WFH at the start of Covid. they saved so much money, they shut down the main office they were renting and now have a building for IT and offices in Downtown. So far there is no indication they want us to come back to the office.

you already have it.  doesnt mean air travel should be cheap and plentiful.  i wish theyde take 2-3 rows of seats out and just raise the prices so we can all breath a little better like we used to.  ill pay 10% more for more legroom.  i already upgrade to bulkhead seats whenever i can find them open.

Ford and Toyota are both taking a very measured approach to EVs. We haven’t been talking about there being lithium or other material shortages on the horizon that make the chip shortage look mild, but they’re there. Having ICE units to move without running afoul of optimistic projections is a great insurance policy.

If I’m entirely honest, I think the fact that the racing at Monaco is ass in the modern era is the perfect encapsulation of Formula One. Like, the series has outgrown this stuff and yet still desperately holds onto tradition for no reason other than it's what they've always done.

wait theyre doing a street race in nashville???? that might be something i need to see. now watch its going to be during the week ill be at road america racing.

I don’t think anyone likes the Monaco GP. The only real competitive part of the weekend is qualifying, the actual race is just a 2 hour parade lap where you’re hoping a couple guys ahead of your favorite driver botch something in the pits, because that’s pretty much the only way to gain position.

I think just about everyone agrees with you. I’d just argue that Monaco is one of the last sporting events that can sustain itself on pageantry and aura alone. Couple that with just about any on track incident necessitates a safety car that could turn the race on its head, and  I don’t find it that hard to watch all

Treat your self right and stay at The Hermitage. Probably top 3 in places I’ve ever stayed at. It’s amazing.

Eh fuck it Dude, let’s go bowling.
