I don't think microsoft knew anything about it the family plan. I'm sure they would have figured it out, but at this point they need to undo work.

Someone else at some point said that wasn't true but really we can't trust any source, even Microsoft, the ones building the darn thing.

They did have a few cool ideas. But I seriously doubt the family sharing will ever pan out. Remember when you could authorize 5 PS3s for downloaded games? Something tells me that publishers had a big hand in that being cut down to 2 systems.

Owen - as digital distribution is already a factor when it comes to modern and the new generation of consoles, why do the consumer protections afforded by the old model preclude expanding and changing the sports model to be what you describe?
