No, not really. When the two where the same price it seemed like you where paying more for less with the 3DS and less for more with the Vita. Now, both systems are reasonably priced for what they offer, though the PS Vita still seems like it could have ended up being much more than what Sony is offering it for.

Deep down inside, I knew I should have waited but I figured they would do what they did with RDR and not release it for PC.

Same. Dammit, WHY!!

I think this became a pre-order for me and I've never pre-ordered any game system before. It's launching with at least one(or more? Can't remember the release dates of the rest of the games shown at E3) strong launch title, and since I don't own a PSP, there is still a large collection PSP games in the PSN store that

While this is cool, I'm still holding out on a Cobalt or Electric Blue 3DS. My Nintendo handhelds have been about the same color since I bought a Gameboy Advance SP. Hopefully they'll release one around Christmas time.

No, FF games before 10 where linear but they weren't nearly as linear as FFXIII. They didn't confine you to running down a narrow pathway for hours on end with little to no extra paths. The extra pathways in FFXIII weren't hidden at all considering how little there was to move around so extra loot was incredibly easy

Pretty much. They'll be criticized if they talk about it and criticized if they don't

I hope the impression I'm getting from this trailer is accurate. It looks like this game will at least be more open and hopefully have multiple paths, puzzles(? looks like one in the trailer), etc. Though, I have a sinking feeling it will be more of the same, which after playing XIII, I know I won't enjoy. I just hope

I saw that too. I kept trying to go back in the video but it looked like the area with the red tiles may have been a puzzle. If it it's more open as the trailer seems to indicate and is filled with more sidequests/puzzles, exploration, etc. then I may pick it up.

Ugh, the wait is killing me. Why isn't it tomorrow yet!?

How? I'm not getting it because of the scores...and I've been keeping up with this game for awhile so it isn't a impulsive purchase.

Pretty good scores. Can't wait to go pick it up tomorrow after work.

I'm not sure of this either. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that with anime it really depends on who is handling it and what direction they decide to take with it. For instance, Fullmetal Alchemist's ADR(automated dialogue replacement) director is Mike McFarland and I think I can say that he probably handles

I don't really think that a playstation game as old as FF7 would benefit at all from an HD Conversion. They are better off just doing a remake.

YES! I was hoping that if they brought it over that it would be the PS3 version. Not that the Wii version would be bad but I want the extra content.

I can see this as being true. My Dad was the one who introduced me to video games and a lot of the quality time not spent playing with my stuffed animals, or Lego's, was spent in front of the TV playing on the Sega Genesis. We used to have competitions to see how far we could get through Sonic 2 and played one or two

For me it did. I do love the DS and I am still looking forward to the 3DS...but the NGP at this point has the features(one big screen, dual analog sticks, etc) and games that appeal to me the most. The main reason I was excited about the 3DS was because of the list of games that where supposed to come out at launch.

@xfhunterx: I've played IX. It's actually one of my favorites so I have to disagree on that one. Since the game wasn't much different from the others on the Playstation, there wasn't anything for me to dislike as far as game play went.

Eh, unless this shows signs of having major changes in it, then I'm not interested. Sorry, but FFXIII is the first FF I have never finished and have absolutely no desire to finish. For me it was just unemployable and probably the only FF I truly dislike.

@apollosrequiem: I don't understand the dismissals either. If you enjoyed it that's fine, but that doesn't make the game flawless nor does it make the criticisms made about this game unfounded. I mean, call others and myself haters for voicing our dislike for the game and the thought of a sequel, but for many of us
