The question is not whether it was massive, but whether or not they managed to monetize it. It sounds like they didn't manage that part of it.

I actually bought the PS4 because it played Netflix. If you don't have one of those devices you mention, it does add value. I also use YouTube and would use Spotify if the goddamn restrictions were lifted.

Yep. Papers Please is my favourite artwork on the banality of evil because the mechanics themselves are banal and repetitive. It wouldn't work as the dreary tale of a paper pusher without that element,

I really fucking hope this time around they remember there's an entire continent where kids raised on their games are turning 30 next year that they kinda forgot about last time.

At least in my country, kids are the primary audience. That and 20-somethings, who DO use multiplayer a lot. Most of my friends are pretty annoyed my only local multiplayer game is NHL 16.

Dishonored does the same thing except it's a heart talking through your controller.

He can be both things. Or rather - it's clear that he's being, at the very best and most charitable, creepy and explotative of his 'Angels'. But it's also clear this is a person who never ever learnt what a healthy boundary is or how healthy relationships works because he was repeteadly abused as a child.

I had found out the dog pound - but the tunnel taking you directly inside the building was a new one for me.

Yes, totally. I've been playing it again on PS4 this weekend, doing a low chaos no dead people run and I've found out so many new ways to do the missions.

I hope you enjoy Skyrim's aurora borealis, bears, bandits and Bergman-esque take on marriage.

That Call of Duty article was really interesting. As a Latin American, though, I don't particularly agree with his assesment. Latin American unity and a supra-nation has been a political idea since… well, since the Independence! Some people even say that whenever we're not working together, we're disappointing our

Lies. DA:I is brilliant at things it isn't even trying to do.

Yes, you need to almost max Paragon to get that outcome.

It works so perfectly. Every element is there for a reason which is a fucking wonder in videogames.

Yes, exactly! It's a very simple game, telling a story with very simple tools but at the same time, it's a story that can only be told as a videogame or at least, a story that's not trying to be a mediocre movie or a bad novel.

I played for a few hundred hours on PS3 and didn't have much problems. Neither did my brother.

I really hope they can balance those elements better in their next ame (which is Sunless Sea IN SPACE), because it gets boring - as opposed to 'fittingly difficult' - after a while

Oh, they are not at all. Or rather, they tend to be really, really good at building environments - I really enjoy the experience of loneliness + murdering people Bethesda games offer, but don't expect deep NPCs or more than a handful of compelling quests.

I played through Journey last weekend, so it's one down in my gaming backlog, 50ish to go. It certainly did live up to the hype - it's such a pure game, using the language of videogames to tell its story.

Skyrim is about many things, but story and character aren't part of those things.
