Agreed. Not a single episode of the Wire has a cohesive theme. The closest they got was having two character arcs that had something connecting them, like the simultaneous ends of Burrell and Prop Joe. But even then there were a million other things going on in that episode.

Since no one has bothered to explain why they think the use of "social justice warrior" potentially invalidates his point I will try. The phrase "social justice warrior" has its origin, as far as I can tell, in the mockery of do-nothing, overzealous and unyielding "progressives" on the internet who hurt their own

That's our Woody! Huh-hyuck!

Forgive me if this is obvious to everyone else, but I haven't seen it explained anywhere: Why did Davos take Jon's body, and join up with the good Night's Watch guys? Is it just because the plot needed him to? Because even though I can come up with a couple justifications (he knew Alliser & CO. would want to kill

I thought it added some humanity to her, showing that for all her mysticism at her heart she was just a sad, romantic old lady trying to relive her glory days. She's gonna need some depth if they plan on keeping her on the show as more than just an appendage to the Stannis plot.

Seems weirdly squeamish of them if so.

Well yeah, that too.

They did. First Trystane, then they changed it to Doran. So two dick moves.

No, they first changed it to another death spoiler.

I know, and I'm nerdraging. But come on man, this seems unusually extreme even for the AV Club.

Yep. Fuck these assholes.

Wow. Fuck this clickbait rag.

Please tell me you see the fucking difference between having an article recapping the deaths, and publishing images of the exact moments of the deaths right on your site's front page.

Someone for whom life circumstances occasionaly dictate that I have to watch a show I like a few days after it airs, and who doesn't appreciate the literal death shot of one of the characters showing up on the front page of a website I like to go to.

Because if there's one thing ASOIAF is about it's the stability of feudal politics.

Whatever it is, it's definitely not two days.

Yeah, there's a lot of people who just watch this show because it's in the zeitgeist and don't actually get it at all or have the attention span to remember characters, I agree.
