Welcome to Obama 2008
EVERYTHING MUST BE ABOUT THE GLORIOUS SANDERS REVOLUTION OR IT IS WORTH NOTHING
Hahaha "Mrs. Schultz!" Could you be more of a joke?
I think the most interesting thing about Stamper is after years of media that often kind of romanticize and glamorize the nobility and coolness of being the Dragon/fixer (Mike from Breaking Bad, Stringer Bell, most anime and JRPGs, etc.), Doug's storyline made the point that someone who devotes their time to doing the…
…right, but as a character he's not completely boring like the rest and the actor playing him is great.
See I don't even completely agree with your conclusion but that comment was still 10 times more interesting than an episode of YitR because you actually brought something other than your laziest gut assumptions to the discussion.
Given how derivative and uninspired this show usually is I'm going to put safe money that at the end of this season Mad Men will remain as the only prestige drama that has the antihero's wife actually follow through on leaving him for good.
I think a lot of that criticism of Wompler has more to do with how CBB handles the character (constant rehashing of canon, repetitive jokes, etc.) than wih the character herself since everyone who listens to Womp it Up seems to really like it
The PFT one is good solely because it has PFT on it but otherwise your initial reaction is correct. The host is neither knowledgeable enough to know what he's talking about, nor funny enough to make a good comedy podcast. Anything the YITR podcast does is done far better elsewhere.
Well keep in mind that he likes chemicals so much he resembles a famous TV antihero so I can understand his love for processed food.
So Andrew Ti emerged from his weed haze and did the bare minimum amount of research required to make his podcast not terrible this week? Color me surprised.
Your last point about it being a big night is fair, I think I read a stronger opinion into your first comment then was actually there.
I know what writers and directors do dude, I don't have to work in the industry for that.
Don't worry it's okay to like Lady Gaga because even though she's a pop star who makes pop music at a relatively equal quality level as her peers she Went To Music School so it's better.
That's fine and I was definitely too aggressive in dismissing his performance. I just find the whole "He needs one just for not getting one yet!" narrative even more tiresome especially when I personally find him overrated.
Not really.
Please don't get another one started just as the last one ends.
More importantly, the Internet can now shut the fuck up about DiCaprio, who won only because the release politics of Beasts of No Nation disqualified Idris Elba and Abraham Attah.
…is the excuse artists use to justify being douchebags.
Thank you for doing that
