Completely disagree. I think the first season is as close to a perfect season of television as there can be and that the following seasons, while still mostly great, all had a bum story line or stretch of aimlessness that prevented them from matching it.
It doesn't help that as soon as that episode ended everyone was acting like they totally knew where Sansa's arc was going and wrote off the rest of the season based on what they thought was going to happen. I disagree. Mad Men's last half-season had some great moments, but it definitely got pretty aimless at points. And more characters than I would have liked (Roger, Ted, to name a couple) didn't get wrapped up nearly as satisfactorily as I would have liked.
