Ironically, it’s very funny that Zaslav wants to kill the mid-budget DC streaming projects when Disney is in the middle of what appears to be a very successful pivot to doing exactly that to fill gaps between their major MCU theatrical releases.

On paper Christie as Lucifer makes a lot of sense, but boy those curls don’t work too well on video.

I think she’s just being harsh on her own work. It’s not high art - those live action kid shows rarely are, but it had some spark and flare. I was way too old to be really be a fan, but little bits I’ve seen have made me chuckle more than something like That’s So Raven.

Apart from a bit of dodgy CGI and some unnecessary Predator redesign elements, Prey was so, so good. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Helicopter rotor design guy here, there’s a reason NOTAR is basically a dead technology - it sucks from a performance/response standpoint. It also has all the same failure-prone tail rotor mechanism (arguably more complex with the blower plus motive nozzle) just built inside the empennage to force air out the boom.

I agree here that gasoline doesn’t help, especially in dry areas like Africa and the Mediterrean. If those cars catch fire then a whole forest can burn down.
