A star for the deep cut. Well played.

It bears mentioning that there were 239 people on board that flight. This search is not just about finding the plane, but bringing some closure to the families of those people. I just thought I’d add that, as it wasn’t mentioned in the post.

No mention of LaLa Land from 2016? OK. But it was exactly the type of movie this post talks about. Although announced as Best Picture, then corrected, it should have won that year. This genre of picture is sorely missed.

If I think hard, the last time I saw any Neon (an SRT-4 driven by an acquaintance) had to have been in 2008 or 2009. For a car that was so ubiquitous, they’ve all but disappeared. I know there was a whole post on this the other day, but I’m just amazed that they’re all gone. Mostly.

For my money, I give J. Mike’s the crown. I think JJ’s has pretty OK sandwiches. And the less said about Subway, the better.

Oh hell yes. Robot Jox was so close to being perfect. The special effects of the day just weren’t there. Still it was extremely cool.

That’s gonna make an ocular patdown just a bit more challenging.

Dr. Tachyon did NOT look like I expected.

Damn. $2 for a hot dog in an NFL stadium is the deal of the century.

Super cool car. But not at $10K. ND.

No. I can not!

Looks like even Serj (Serge?) is back. Bronson Pinchot always classes the place up.

Up front, I voted NP. However, there’s one thing making me be less than 100% confident in my choice.

I watched the show here and there and was surprised that it wasn’t bad. But, I knew that they were going to have to do a heel turn on George and I was not looking forward to that. The last season, I actively did not watch it, just for that reason. Don’t see myself watching this coming season, either.

Ronnie’s restoration of that Fiero is one of the best pieces I’ve ever seen. His current 240 restoration is shaping up to be much the same, although he’s not quick with the new installments. Hell, even his videos of restoring his garage are works of art.

Looks like your comment may have gotten through. The World According to Jeff Goldblum is no longer listed.

Nate, over on Element Life on YouTube, lived in a built out Honda Element for years. He’s since moved on to bigger accomodations (Nissan NV200 —> Mitsubishi Delica —> tiny house + a full size pickup with a camper topper), but it made me rethink the Element. When it first came out, I just thought it was weird. Now, I

The greatest music video ever made is actually a fragrance ad. Weird, but I’ve watched it so many times. Probably the best thing I’ve seen Margaret Qualley in.

In related news, Ford dealers nationwide announced that their “Dealer Market Adjustment” just went up approximately $3,000.

I knew that I was going to hit NP when I saw that first pic. The first rule of selling a car online is to have decent pictures. This seller has gone above and beyond on that point. It looks great and if it’s still a runner at 200K+ miles, it’s been taken care of. Even better that it’s only on its second owner. NP.
