They really gave the giant dial for gear selector a prime real estate on the center console eh? It will be used exactly zero times by 99.8% of the soccer moms and dads.

You made some points but the first one is incorrect.

None of us have or ever will drive it. For all we know, it’s a loud uncouth dog compared to what we drive today.

People learn mostly through experience and esp. painful experience. You don’t know what you don’t know until you encounter it. 

I bet its a joy to drive and the interior designs are nice for a benz, but why does it look like a C-class?... one thats a decade old
