Let me guess, you're the girlfriend?
Let me guess, you're the girlfriend?
You keep repeating arguments I didn't find convincing the first time, so I guess this is where there's no point in further engaging. The poster I replied to apparently got my point; I'll be satisfied with that. Have a nice life.
Sure, being cheated on doesn't always lead to being left, but neither does it always lead to raising another man's child, so what's exactly your point here?
"To summarize, I restate my point: A woman who sees a distinction between "dude is hot as hell" and "good diaper changer" is a woman I, for one, dont care about. "
The important point here is that all these women here he's railing against are _not_his_significnt_others, so it's none of his business whom they find hot.
Are you suggesting that women as a group are more likely to cheat than men? That seems a bit baseless, no?
And do YOU know that it's also perfectly possible to plan something and then to stick to the plan? Actually sticking to a plan is a crucial virtue in all kinds of sitations. Once again: A guy who won't trust me to stick to my plans is not a guy I'd feel bad about missing out on.
You're welcome. I think it's a valueable reminder to never give the final say to the nether regions, but there's also no point in denying the hotness. My consolation is that neither aged well.
He's got a good head shape; going bald won't detract from his beauty.
But do YOU know that it's possible to acknowledge attraction without ever planning to act on it? And do YOU know that guys who are paranoid, mistrustful and insecure enough to not get that are not necessarily the kind of guys anyone would want to build a life with anyway?
But as it's becoming more mainstream the liklehood of people who are not actually into it being pressured into it rises.
I enjoyed the first two seasons of the show for the delicous soapiness of it all, but he's right on the money about its politics.
Well, the naive thing is to believe that "we got out of that", because let's face it, neither the U.S. nor the U.K is actually a meritocracy - class markers are still a big deal; you're just supposed to be less blatant about it. "I don't care about class" is a bit like saying "I don't see race" - a somewhat…
... to the tunes of Wagner's Liebestod. Is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.
Chances are they alread stopped watching after seeing Dorian Gray make out with Josh Hartnett in the episode before.
Well, we don't know if it's actually the egyptian deity possessing her; that's just one of various competing theories at this point. For what it's worth, catholic Vanessa herself seems to believe she's dealing with the devil (she calls him serpent), who _is_ a mythological creature belonging to a poc culture, I…
Nah. Myths are so powerful, because they are so old and they are kept alive by being retold and reshaped in the process. With every myth sufficiently ancient, there are a lot of competing versions already out there; it's hardly possible to create more confusion than there already is.
Thank you! That does indeed sound more interesting!
