@Xeraphim: You can keep copies of the virtual machine files, or use the snapshot features of most VM softwares. That way, when they screw it up, you slip them over to a fresh VM, or revert back to the virginal VM state.

@FalconFour: Unless you absolutely know what you're doing, I do not recommend futzing around in a CRT in an attempt to fix it.
