I like my collapsible comments better. They nest properly.

@Anne Boleyn: The WNDR3700 is a great piece of kit.

...there goes the neighborhood.

@Alan Rosenthal: They are made to be used. So, I use them. My iPhone is naked. I eat and drink at my computer. Yadda. Yadda. Yadda.

@Buster Friendly: You could always "stay home", if you catch my drift.

@bilk: Are you providing enough power to the external HDD?

@soggy_cheerio: Apparently, that was too technical of an answer.

@venc: WOL and DHCP can be a little touchy. Set up address reservation for the server on the router, a static IP on the server, and get the port forwarding setup correctly and your problems will go away. I'm sure there are a ton of tutorials and such online.

@whiteflea: I'd star you if I could, your comments have been spot on around here.

@TheFu: An ignore, or this is spam feature would be quite useful. Enough people mark it as spam or as a problem, and it's flagged for someone at Gawker to look at and take appropriate action.

@e-gadgetjunkie: Just about any single-pole single-throw momentary contact(normally open) switch will work. (It's not a toggle switch.)

@whiteflea: It would be easy to determine that you were not promoting or approving a trolling comment. Promoting or approving someone who later decides to troll happens. I'm suggesting that the nimrod that promotes someone who is in the process of trolling or spamming should be sacked.

@venc: Only 5? ;)

@bornonbord: Don't most USB or Bluetooth keyboards work?

@venc: Depends on how old of a computer it is. Really old ones were often known as doorstops.
