Kyle’s specialty is the pretaped weirdness, which has already been supplanted by the Do Not Destroy team. I see him having a bright future with HBO Max or Netflix.

A shame she got overshadowed by all the notable departures, because goddamn, I don’t think there’s been a host that fit in so seamlessly in a long while - not even Mulaney. You’d think there wasn’t a host at all from how Natasha carried herself.
While it was really sweet for SNL to give such goodbyes to both McKinnon and Davidson, it did kind of make it stand out that Bryant or Mooney didn’t get a similar emotional moment. Not that it was required, but still. On the positive side, I didn’t expect Davidson to have such a touching farewell, although writing…
I definitely think Raja deserved the other winning spot instead of Trinity, especially do you difficulty AND her runway.
It might make more sense if there was some sort of relation between the two characters or maybe if the contestants had to re-impersonate a former Snatch Game character as well as a new character. The decision to make everyone play two almost feels like producers couldn’t decide which performance they wanted from…
for many of us, he was never really there at all
B-? Are you feeling okay? This was one of the best hours of Drag Race ever. That lip sync alone put this in Legend status.
Eliminating the eliminations, emphasizing challenge wins, and introducing the block are all ideas that will help make this season madcap instead of cutthroat. That’s a welcome approach for All Stars, as these queens have already paid their dues, and a similar lighter touch worked well for AS6. The only thing that’s…
It’s almost disappointing to see how terrific and happy Diaz looks, as it suggests she won’t be coming out of retirement any time soon. It’s a shame because she’s fully convincing when she says she’s a huge fan of RuPaul’s music.
She’s about 5 years late.
Of the four announced leaving, Aidy Bryant is the only one who was still producing good sketch comedy. I would’ve missed Kate McKinnon if she left 5 years ago, but she overstayed, and now she’s probably not employable.
I know it was based on timing of info release, but it really ends up looking like Pete Davidson was SO important to SNL that he needed his own article.
Kenan is going to be there forever. He’ll take over for Lorne when Lorne retires. Sketch is his calling. His sitcom was fine, but he was born to do sketch comedy.
Fine with all of this. Kate McKinnon probably had the biggest impact of the three, but hasn’t really brought much new to the table in a few years, unless you count playing “Kate McKinnon freaking out about Trump.” More or less feel the same about Aidy Bryant. Never got Kyle Mooney.
With Kenan’s sitcom having just been cancelled, I guess he has no reason to leave yet.
Good. All three of them had really been there way too long and Kate and Aidy are horribly overused (when they’re present for the episodes). And all three of them have fully settled in and given up on doing anything but pretty much the exact same characterization no matter what the sketch calls for. It’ll be good to…
As much as I love Kate, it was time for her to go. She’s been in late-period-Wiig mode for the past four or five years. Aidy, though...that’s going to sting.
Please, for the love of god, do not add any more cast members. The bench is already way too deep and some performers are barely getting any screen time (hello, Aristotle Athari). Just let the cast shrink down to a reasonable number for a change and let some peeps shine.
Yeah. I like all 4 of them well enough, but I believe Aidy is the only one of the group I’ll miss on SNL any time soon.
Honestly, it’s time. If everyone outside of some of the newer cast and Kenan Thompson were booted, that would be fine, too.
