I read it as she took issue with the public nature of it, which I think is fair. If you have means to contact me privately, do it that way rather than putting something out for YOUR “followers” about MY family tragedy.

There’s a painting of him getting younger somewhere.

Exactly, Cattrall has been consistently professional about things and only allowed it to bleed into the personal and public when goaded, and yetthe entire narrative has been framed as “Kim Cattrall shades Sarah Jessica Parker” and “these two women don’t like each other” and so on.

Norman Reedus is leaning hard into the Johnny Depp thing of an old and weathered face with far-too-young hair.

I think her career exists because she was one of the only teenaged and 20-something actresses during her respective breakthroughs who made sense as a ‘character actress’ rather than as a wannabe ‘movie star’, and she managed to transition from teenaged TV actress to stage actress to 20- and 30-something film-and-TV

I mean, look up who the Bikram is in Bikram Yoga, and you might be surprised how much they have in common.

I would’ve include that detail if every devoted dead mother got an obituary in AV Club. But since they don’t....c’est fini.

Rest in Peace. A great harmonizing vocalists of country. Nothing too theatrical or showy, just a wonderful pure voice.

Which did he think was funnier, this attempt, or when he beat his wife?

So she’s been ducking the process server. That’s the only logical conclusion to this story.

Why would someone pretend they get off on intimidating someone when that’s not at all why they took the job?

Why are you using quotation marks around “...preferably in front of family, friends, or employers” here? Nobody else has written this. You’ve invented a narrative around why process servers do what they do.

Genuinely forgot he was part of that OG cast. And other than some bad movies, nothing that I can think of. So I’ll flail and say he’s the exception proving the rule.

This is wholly unsurprising. He’s had an inexplicable pass for years. None of the men from those early years at SNL turned out to be upstanding citizens.

Fair enough, but I think SNL has a pretty 50-50 track record with non-actors. For every Chris Evert, there’s a Nancy Kerrigan.

She’s certainly not untalented, but she’s not an actress, and it’s weird to read a review that seems to think the writers failed her when she constantly found sketches so funny she couldn’t keep a straight face.

That was a proper thing to praise her for. Yes, she broke so often it seemed like early-career Pete Davidson, but she recovered extremely well.

Not that seriously, given she didn’t make it through many (any?) without breaking.

Hard disagree there.

Which is all well and good, but nobody seriously pretended Nancy Kerrigan or Justin Bieber were somehow better than the material they were given. This new reviewer of SNL seems to think Lizzo is some kind of comedic genius simply held back by these writers, but I’d like to know where any of that was in evidence.
