I’m exhausted just thinking about all this MCU content being chummed into the ocean.

We all stayed in lockdown to keep Boomers like him from dying. I’m starting to think that was a mistake.
TL;DR.- it can’t.
There is a light, but it sometimes goes out.
Zack Snyder is to AVClub as Chrissy Tiegen is to Buzzfeed.
Glad to see her getting work. She had the hardest job to land of the ‘Schitt’s Creek’ core cast - everyone else was essentially irreplaceable - and absolutely nailed it from Season 1 to the finale. Looking forward to seeing what she does in the coming decade.
Yeah, back in the early days before Food Network when he started putting BBQ pork in a sushi roll. It’s all corporate now, a Fieri-style TGIFridays, but the fusion concept was innovative at the time.
Given the number of sex pests, garbage people, and assholes in the food world generally, it’s nice to see a good guy getting ahead. His aesthetic is ridiculous but damn if he doesn’t know his brand.
Not really. His background is restaurant management, then he opened a bunch of restaurants that serve food to his liking, but he’s not a chef. He’s never, to my knowledge, run a kitchen. But he knows how to cook well enough for TV.
Ah, shit! I knew I would mess it up!
See, and I really didn’t like Shangela’s performance in the challenge. If Chi Chi had an ounce of charisma in the Bitchelor taping I could have seen Shangela being in the bottom. That progressive insurance joke was torture.
I agree with this, although I see people calling DeLa calculating all over the place, and haven’t seen the same level of commentary about Shangela, who strikes me as the epitome of ‘playing the game’.
“Keep reaching for the stars - because you’ll never be one. Raven” was petty as F***!
I totally agree with this. I don’t see DeLa as being calculating here, but I definitely see Shangela being calculating.
Someone saying that to Alyssa would be problematic because she is a fan favorite (which I am baffled by, I seem to be the only person who doesn’t care for Alyssa’s schtick), but Thorgy and Milk were both annoying enough to merit a “I was tired of having her in the workroom, so I sent her home.”
Well in AS2, it was such a “we’re saving our friend” thing. Now, it’s more of a “we’re eliminating the wildcard [Morgan] and the obnoxious one [Milk]” thing, which I’m fine with.
That’s exactly why I’m suspicious of the theory: what doesn’t Ru know? The show is produced so viciously I can’t see what a mole would bring to the deliberation that isn’t already there.
Yeah, the song choice sealed it. It really was kind of like ‘Cool For The Summer’, those kind of slow build new-ish girl pop songs with synth aren’t great for a barn burner of a LSFYL
I would love it if a queen just said “I sent her home because she was annoying the f*** out of me” regarding either Thorgy OR Milk. I mean, I didn’t miss Thorgy’s insecurities at all this week, and I won’t miss Milk’s delusions of grandeur next week, so even if Chi Chi has been the weaker of the bottom twice, I’m not…
Of the queens remaining, Snatch Game is kind of make-or-break for a few of them. Trixie needs to do well because (while I think she would have straight-up won this week if not saddled with Milk) she’s now had two chances for comedy, one which she elected to do live non-comedy music during (which I think was smart!),…
