Yes a million times. When I found out how dedicated yet relatively low key he has been about taking care of his son, it changed everything for me. He is alright in my book.

Indeed. I have friends who make music and they constantly tell me their recording studios end up feeling like safe spaces, where they are allowed to be themselves and do what’s important to them. How incredibly violating and disgusting it must be when someone treats you like a piece of meat in a place where you…
Yeah, and leaving the car? Which was then found days before her? Doesn’t sound like every decision made was a wise one.
Commenting to say that that is absolutely hilarious.
Teletype, probably. But yes, it’s amusing.
I’m betting the issue is poverty and general lack of social and medical resources. As for the spike, I don’t know, but I’d be curious to find out.
I was taught that when it comes to teenagers, there is a contagious component. It is, however, a controversial thought since the contagious component means that educators and the like have been advised not to discuss suicide for fear of spreading it, much like a virus. Of course, not discussing it further stigmatizes…
Well, you’re a more patient person than I, because I will always stop reading at the first mention of God. I mean, I read mainly historical romance and mentioning God is pretty historically sound, but when it pops up in that first chapter, I just know it’s going to be one of those situations where someone is “saved”.…
Probably? Although, going off Amazon reviews, a lot of Christian romance / Amish romance-readers are going to find a lot to object to in the other sections. Sometimes, I look up spiritual romances in the Kindle store just to read the reviews.
Indeed. I also can’t figure out where the photo is taken. Someone’s kitchen that also has an ATM? A slightly classier food court than normal in a mall? Why are press photos being taken there?
Yes, I honestly think this is a professional look for most, if not all settings, but I’m also not the most conservative person. However, we’re talking about a “trendy” clothing store here. People who look like this girl are probably beacons for teenagers who want to spend their cash at the store.
So true. Thought about posting this myself. Glad you did.
Absolutely. I actually did a google image search for “zara employee” but most of the pictures were meaningless stock image photos. Instagram would probably be a much better idea.
Yup. She looks professional and on style. She did the right thing by going public with this.
I see white girls with braids working at Zara every damn time I go to one. I’ll bet my ass there isn’t a “no braids” policy.
I can imagine! I am really nervous about recovery. I feel there’s such pressure to come skipping out of the hospital and be your pre-pregnancy self, but knowing my body, that’s probably not going to happen... I’ll probably end up investing in a stand for my iPad so I can surf while nursing without breaking my neck.
Congratulations! Awesome to see you on Jezebel after such a short time - that gives me hope :)
It’s not that it looks like coffin lining, it’s that it is coffin lining used for a different purpose. I would have loved it when I was a tiny one, though, and if my dad (of all people) tried to take it away, it wouldn’t have been pretty.
Congrats! Why are they focused on 36 for you?
38 weeks or 42 weeks, apparently. I know what I’m wishing for... :)
