You do trade off a lot of capacity for the in-battery charger and USB plug. A USB battery charger would be a better investment. Could be useful if you're travelling with a laptop (or something else with USB ports) and expect to be away from a power point when the batteries on something run out.

I'm a Trillian devotee but I'm going to give this a look. I've not patched Trill since my subscription expired in early 2004, which kind of underlines how long-in-the-tooth it's become. Their new thing's taking an absolute age.

I'm in the "many paper bookmarks" crowd. You'd be amazed at the things which get pressed into service. Receipts, polling cards, leaflets, cheques, old exam papers...

I use post-its stuck to the edges of my monitor. They're a good compromise because I see them while I'm sitting down to get to work, but I don't have to switch on the computer if I'm not actually going to sit down to work. If it's really important it gets stuck into the centre of the display.
