There’s a pathological need for comic fans to have Stan as this genial “Geek Godfather” figure but no figure in comics had less interest in it than Stan, seeing it as a springboard to escape the medium. It’s also worth pointing out that Stan had twenty years before the Marvel Universe and his writing is uncreative and

Being the victim of abuse does not erase past misdeeds. Doing a shitty thing is shitty, even if worse things happen to you, decades later.

Do you think Lee’s legacy began when the man was in his 90s?

Stan the Man(ipulator)!

It made Kirby so mad that he started eating people and taking their powers!

That title sequence (at least the music) felt like some of the 2000s Disney Channel sitcoms, too, appropriately enough.

I was happy with the Luke cameo, but you’re right, the limitations of the special effect lacked the warmth and humor that Mark Hamill brought to the role.

Imagine he tears through those Dark Troopers, everyone’s on edge, then finally he pulls back the hood with a big smile. “Hi! I’m Luke Skywalker!” like it’s no big

That bit actually got a chuckle out of me in this episode. I was going “Wait, where did they come fro- oh, right. They’re droids with jetpacks. Spacing them isn’t really going to do much.”

When Mando and Boba go to recruit Bo-Katan and Koska Reeves, there is a ship visible that is similar to Kylo Ren’s shuttle in The Force Awakens and beyond.
