I’m a car guy, but speaking as a car guy who spends a great deal of time in that particular city I can easily see (and support!) a future when private auto use is banned in the central city, leaving the streets…
I have, used to live adjacent to St. Paul’s for about two months out of the year for about thirteen years... The congestion during the day was horrific. A night, much less so. Not sure what the “integrated approach” is, but the initial change to a per-mile tax really does sound like a cash grab that won’t help with…
