It all depends on the in service date. I bought my 3er  in Nov 2015. It’s entry into service date was October 2012. CPO warranty was 6 years from original in service date, so it just expired last month.

75,000 miles on my f30 now (my first bmw) and I’ve had almost zero problems. Very happy with the car and level of service at the dealer.
