I'm sorry. I just hate it when humanities/liberal arts majors complain that they don't make as much as STEM majors. STEM majors work harder and they're in high demand, and thus they're paid more. That's not unfair, and if that's one of the reasons why men on average make more than women then you can't call it

Cultural trends do not "push" girls out of mathematics. Girls push themselves out. My math teachers have always encouraged me just as much as any male student.
