It’s like if Tomato went full-retard.
It’s like if Tomato went full-retard.
The party is perfect for those who don’t want to actually THINK. Tic a few boxes like “morality” (I care about fetuses without SS numbers, but don’t care about immigrants without SS numbers) or “values” (if we let two men marry, that means my wife will leave me for the horse!) to try to prove they’re good people. That…
Holy. Shit. That’s just so fucking blatant.
This bitch has the lazy eye AND the crazy eye!
Maybe the power of Keanu lies within is beard.
The writers seemed to have a pulse on what’s going on in the world, and the maturing of the franchise is obvious.
Ditto, we would’ve spent the same at a theater, and I love the idea of a VOD release when the theater release comes out. That doesn’t mean I won’t go to theaters for some movies I really want to see.
It is a common human trait, but the positive part comes from you admitting it. Not hyperbole, there’s just a lot of delusion in the air currently.
It’s along the lines of “I’ll stick a pin in it until some evidence rears up; otherwise I have plent of other shit to worry about. Ya know, real things.”
The dude is a great quirky-weird ala Johnny Depp’s early days. He just needs to find writers/directors who can work with him, and it’s currently not those who tried for Snyder-verse.
Yeah, there hasn’t been shit about Miller’s fan situation that I’ve seen. Media is pretty shit sometimes, but at least not RWNJ shit.
On a follow-up message, I’ve seen this movie once or twice, and any interest in viewing it again was mitigated by the Peter Evans scene.
Disclaimer: I don’t usually look at the writers for io9/Gizmodo articles, because I want to enter every piece with a general sense of love. I got to the second sentence and had to scroll up with the thought “oh, I believe this is Bricken.”
“...a mishmash of familiar tropes presented with a lot of panache but not a lot of imagination”
For me, the only one to surpass Donnie is Jackie Chan, just because I love Chan’s goofiness. Sorry Jet Li, you’re wonderful but you’re in third.
I initially wanted to nope the fuck out of this movie because George Carlin is a staple growing up for me. Out of all the comedians they could’ve chosen, there aren’t many I could think of that I’d rather have in the role than Kristen Schaal.
I know “assuming” makes an ass out of you and I, but why the fuck would you not bring Fishburne back?
We are all but dust motes on this infinite sea of... I don’t fucking know, Scale, maybe?
It’s been a few decades, but I remember some not-negative things and John Ritter. I won’t ever call it a stand out or say it was good, but I haven’t revisited much.
The problem is that no one will ever do better than Prachett in other mediums with his work. All we can hope for is imperfect renditions; I would like to encourage these. After all, nothing will take from me Pratchett’s words.
