A very generous review IMO. There is WAY too much Elizabeth Moss face time: June looking at the camera, June lanquid-walking. Closeup of June looking askance. Closeup of June looking at the camera again. MORE June looking at the camera, interrupted by a closeup of someone else and then someone else, and then back to so

History leaves out how he somehow turned into Thomas Jefferson during intermission.

I didn't even think about it. I actually think it's weird when a film or show has actors doing an accent of the language spoken during the real events. So I found it to be a breath of fresh air.

“Or perhaps a series about Katrina, and how that disaster was ultimately not a natural one, but a manmade one, in terms of the failures of levees, and of evacuation protocols, and of recovery efforts, at every level of government.”

On their wedding night... “This just in...”

There is a lot fucked up about it. But it definitely doesn’t override rights of self-incrimination. The problem for Ms. Manning is that she was already convicted and sentenced for the crime. She can’t be tried for that crime again. So, she has no valid rights against self-incrimination since no criminal prosecution

What I’m saying is that I’d assume employees of the transit authority would have special dispensation to eat on the trains because the nature of their work precludes such niceties as easily accessible break rooms and go about my day.

See, even if it is against the rules for passengers to eat on the train, I’d just assume that the employee would have dispensation as they are on the darned things all day...and mind my own business.

I mean, if you watch Homecoming (and I did, and it was so good it actually moved me to tears), they show just how long it takes to plan/rehearse/perfect performances like these. Beyonce and her crew were at it for like a full year. I realize one song at an award show isn’t the same as a full concert at Coachella, but

Yeah, it’s not like she whipped that up in 5 days time. And she’s worked with marching bands in her live shows way before Beychella. Homecoming is a HUGE artistic achievement and deserves all the props in the world. But this is accusation a little galling.

I’m not one to defend TS, especially at the expense of Beyonce, but isn’t it likely that this performance had been planned/rehearsed for months, and it was too late to change it up in the last few weeks since Homecoming was released?

So now an on-stage marching band is a thing only Beyonce can do? 🙄

I kind of wish he had a super heavy Minnesotan accent, and I also kind of wish when he killed Theon he would have looked right at the camera and had asked: “Cold enough for ya?”.

Best to just keep a mustache-twirling villain one-dimensional. I actually came to hate it when writers bent over backwards to gives cartoon villains “motives”

I understand why “That’s Why Darkies Were Born” hasn’t aged well, and that it does provide an uncomfortable window into the racism of its time. However, it should be understood in its full context. And by that, I don’t mean the historical context of what may have been considered well meaning at the time, but the

This is the opposite of interior design; it is the ABSENCE of interior design.

Between his “fashion” line and this house, I will at least give Kayne credit for having an extremely consistent aesthetic.
