No, my shoes became noticeably smaller and impossible to keep one. I had to buy an entirely new shoe "wardrobe" because they all just started falling off my feet.

Just leave some size 6 flip flops out at their house. I was called big foot in my family (I'm a size 9) but seeing how tiny my mom's shoes were always freaked me out (They look like the are for children) and I did not mind so much.
OMG! Thank you for this. I was a size 10 in High School, and then at some point I went down to a size 8.5 and I actually went to the Doctor I was so concerned. He said that I either have an incredibly rare and painful bone disorder or I had just been wearing the wrong shoe size. I've been waiting for this bone…
Well, the article mentions that those were donated from a Brooklyn based company which makes the donation and storage of it simpler. I think that people get caught up with the big ticket/weird items and don't realize that it makes up very little of what is being donated. There just isn't very much perishable food at…
Welp, I guess I just don't see what is wrong with the name. The show is 60 years old and was named back when the idea of accessible high end food in grocery stores seemed ludicrous, so I can understand why they named it something more accessible. It was the first show of it's kind in the US and is still the largest,…
Leftovers is a bit of a misnomer. The food that is being donated was not cooked, partially eaten, and then put away. They basically donated the nonperishable aisles of a Whole Foods. Even the cheese that is at the show is mostly hard aged stuff that does not need to be refrigerated if uncut.
Ok, I go to the show every year and have family who work in the industry/are current and previous members of the Specialty Food council who put on this show. Most of the food at the Show is nonperishable, packaged food. A few years ago the show was a smorgasbord for people just taking whatever they could get their…
It distinguishes it from the one they have in the winter on the West Coast.
I think there is a point in all arts and crafts where you're like "There is not enough shit on this thing! Throw some more stuff on it."
Yeah, now I understand why the lawsuit was for so little.
Ugh, when they warn you something is going to be offensive and then blur or bleep it! What do they think it is going to do to the children? Make them think they are going blind or have tinnitus?
Some are real, some aren't. They've become progressively less real as more have been made. http://gawker.com/is-jimmy-kimme…
I'm just wondering how you would feel about a general "trigger warning" for the class itself (like the materials in this class will cover, rape, incest, war, etc., You are required to read all of it.) so that people can decide whether or not they want to take the class?
I see the complaint for Qatar and Russia, but not for Brazil. FIFA wanted a Latin American country to host the 2014 World Cup, since one hadn't hosted in a while and there is a huge football following there. Brazil was the only country that submitted a complete bid for the games. Mexico was going to but it was…
Brazil was the only country who submitted a bid....
Is this a Good Omens reference, or am I reading too much into this?
The number of times I've been given the wrong food, not said anything, and still left a 20% is staggering for a person my age. I've left a bad tip once in my entire life, and it was because the waitress decided she just didn't want to serve us. Like the food was prepared and she was aware of our existence, she just…
Have you ever had anyone cry while talking to you... because it might have been me. I wasn't mad at you, I was mad at ticketmaster for being the absolute fucking worse.
Oddly, I intend to give my kids titles as middle names, like "Judge" or "Captain". That way they have ready made nicknames. Why would you bully someone that you could call General Peter or Commander Susan?
Yeah, I don't mind unique names, but I think Khaleesi is just an ugly sounding word in general. I visibly cringe when I hear somebody use it on Game of Thrones.
