How long do you think he's been waiting to use that?
How long do you think he's been waiting to use that?
"Somebody" being the operative word, since I don't think anyone who worked on the first two were involved.
Note: Ivanova died on the way back to her home planet.
This is the absolute strangest nerd-news I've heard in a long time.
Deconstruction of Falling Stars is an episode that is really interesting conceptually, but kind of falls apart for me when it comes to depicting its ideas. The extrapolation of the future's developments is kind of silly, but I do really like the way it depicts the shifting view of Sheridan over the years, especially…
No mention of Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn? Besides inspiring Martin to start writing his own epic fantasy series, it's completely awesome by itself and deserving of a look, especially if you like ASoIaF and are interested in something with a slightly more fantastical bent. You can see a whole lot of the newer series'…
It'd be cool to do a season-long Tales of Ba Sing Se thing, have an episode devoted to each character.
That was awesome - I noticed Claudia Black but Virginia Hey was a surprise for the credits. And Rick and Morty is kind of carrying on the Farscape tradition as far as inventive TV sci fi goes, so that's just a bonus.
I have no, no frelling clue how I missed this for four days. But holy hezmana, it's good to be back, you guys. So, so excited to get back into these reviews and hang out with you guys.
Maybe the wildlings could sing it when they cross the Wall? I think that'd be kinda cool, like a mass travel/movement song like when we see it in Storm of Swords.
When I killed your sister, I crushed her head in just…LIKE…THISSSSSSSSSSSS!
You're right! Oh, man, I can't believe I mixed up my 80's fantasy movies! Dammit, I had one job.
She looked like Evil Mia Sara in Legend.
It sounded harsh. I don't really have a problem with it, but it's just a really weird way to extend these story lines.
Ghost is just around whenever and wherever they need him to be when they want a random plot device beyond the Wall.
Not much to say about this one. Noticed after the fiasco last season, they made sure to cast white slaves for Meereen.
I think they're nearing the point that they're just going to sever themselves from the books, maybe keep the key plot beats but mostly follow only vaguely similar paths. I definitely can't imagine FfC adapted in a way that's crowd pleasing (?) the way the show has been so far.
They're really inventing stuff whole-cloth now. At least half this episode was brand new in some way or another. No problem with that, it's cool, it's necessary for the pacing, and I'm excited to see where they're going with it. But it's jarring to be so off guard now.
Name-comment…dis-synergy?
Anyone notice there's a portrait of Snuffles the Dog just hanging in their dining room?
